Norfolk Holiday Accommodation in 17th Century Converted Barn
Self-catering in unspoilt rural setting, Lammas near Aylsham
Hall Farm Barn is a 17th Century converted barn (sleeps 4) in a truly outstanding and unspoilt rural setting in the pretty Norfolk village of Lammas/Buxton.
An idyllic location close to the River Bure which meanders prettily among the meadows of North Norfolk, passing quietly through the National Trust’s Blickling Hall estate, skirting the attractive market town of Aylsham, through Oxnead water mill, then a big lazy loop by Lammas church before feeding Buxton Mill and then on down to the Norfolk Broads.
Buxton is the main village with a general store and 2 pubs but there is a wider range of shops in the market town of Aylsham (3 miles).
The capital of the Norfolk Broads (one of 14 National Parks in the UK) is only 5 miles away at Wroxham, and you may like to hire a boat to view the miles of waterways. The North Norfolk Heritage Coast and the sandy beaches of Cromer, Mundesley, Sea Palling and Horsey are a short drive away. The fine historical city of Norwich is 9 miles away with its many historical sites including Norwich Castle and Cathedral and a great selection of national and local shops for a bit of retail therapy.
